The series Not Just Your Face Honey by Austrian artist Stefanie Moshammer was produced in the USA nd reflects on the thin line between love and delusion. Her photographic work is based on a love letter written to her in March 2014 by Troy C., a man she did not know. This text led the artist to explore questions of surveillance, stalking, and the image of the Other. Her photographs mingle dreams, feelings, and obsessions, combining them into a web of visual associations embedded in a kind of American road movie. Stefanie Moshammer’s series Not Just Your Face Honey won together with the art critic Andreas Prinzing the C/O Berlin Talent Award and is being exhibited at the venue from 7 July to 23 September 2018.
