In his artist's book ‘Cial Images’, Peter Tillessen publishes a selection of 238 drawings from the past three years. This body of work provides a deep insight into a cosmos of ideas which disjointedly link the political with the absurd and the philosophical with the abstract. These ideas, taken from a lively observation of everyday life, range from unusual cancerous growths to observations of animals and signatures of multinational corporations.  Each drawing is created with rapid strokes, using a soft, wide pencil on ordinary A4 office paper. The limited edition of 100 copies has been produced by hand by the artist himself.
