Between 1925 and 1932 the Bauhaus enjoyed an extremely productive phase in Dessau, which gave rise, among other things, to numerous buildings designed by the Bauhäusler. Besides the structures with an international reputation like the Bauhaus Building or the Masters’ Houses, the city also contains other Bauhaus works whose functional, social, and aesthetic concepts are intriguing and reflect the great wealth of ideas coming out of the Bauhaus at the time. The book gives an overview of the architectural work that the Bauhaus bequeathed to Dessau and serves as a guide to the buildings.
